Our program focuses on concealed carry training, emphasizing the importance of gun safety training for responsible firearm ownership. Additionally, we offer self-defense classes designed to equip individuals with the skills needed to protect themselves in various situations.

Armed Advantage is a locally veteran owned and operated business in the state of Alaska. Our instructors are USCCA certified, providing a range of services including concealed carry training, gun safety training, and self-defense classes. We offer instruction on basic firearms safety, home and self-defense, beginner classes, defensive shooting fundamentals, as well as specialized women’s handgun and self-defense classes.
With all the resources you need to become a responsibly armed Alaskan, we are here to help you discover your rights and responsibilities as a gun owner. Learn and prepare with lessons on firearm safety, concealed carry, home defense, and more.

Our mission is to provide concealed carry training, educate our students, and help build the skills necessary to become a responsibly armed citizen. We believe that a firearm in the home serves as a tool of protection and that mastering gun safety training is about being prepared—not about inviting conflict. Through our self-defense classes, we strive to ensure our students are ready for the moment if violence ever knocks at their door.

Most people buy a firearm hoping they’ll never need it.
I teach people how to be prepared if they ever do.
I’m Roger, founder of Armed Advantage. I am also the Chief Firearms Instructor and Range Safety Officer (RSO).
My mission is to create responsible armed citizens by delivering realistic, engaging firearms training that builds confidence—not just marksmanship.
Whether you’re buying your first handgun or refining defensive skills, my goal is simple: help you become safer, more capable, and more confident every time you carry.
“I don’t just teach people to shoot—I teach them when to shoot, when not to shoot, and how to make sound decisions under stress.”
